How are the movies changing

Old Movies:

She is running in a narrow alley with her handbag clutch tight in both of her hands. A young man is running behind her, flashing his sharp fangs, hungry for her blood and ready to pounce on her at any moment. She is running as fast as she could and already knows the fact that the creature will get her in no time.

All of sudden, she bumps on a strong man, who was standing at the end of alley, with a sharp stake in his hand. As an instant reaction, she hugs him tightly and hides behind her savior.

The creature running behind her halts and looks eye in eye of the man, who is holding stake. He growls sending a warning to the hero to stay away. But the hero is adamant, clutches the stake tightly in his hand, ready to pounce at the given chance.

The creature finally decides to move back. He turns and disappears in the night in no time.
The hero embraces the girl in his strong muscular arms and kisses her – ensuring that she is safe now.

Scene cut!!

New Movies:

She is running in a narrow alley with her handbag clutch tight in both of her hands. Three young rowdy men are running behind her, trying hard to get their grip on her. She is running as fast as she could and already knows the fact that those people will get her soon and there is no escape point.

Suddenly a car comes racing in their direction and a young, hot boy gets down from the car. His eyes focus on the three of them. As an instant reaction, she hugs him tightly and hides behind her savior.

The three men halts seeing the young boy and starts laughing. They know he is no match to all three of them. Then, the young boy growls flashing his sharp, long fangs at them.
In horror, they go few steps back hesitantly and within a second they are out of view running for their life.

The vampire holds the girl in his pale but strong arms and kisses her – ensuring that she is safe with him.

Moral of the story: Baddies are the now turning heroes, but the heroines are still running with someone behind them :P

Great contrast between the old and the new! Don't forget in many of the newer movies the girls stop running and beat the guys chasing them to a pulp! I like the strong male hero figures. :D
